He was born in a poor area of London called Tottenham. When she was a few days old, her father, Mark Evans, abandoned him and his mother, Penny Adkins, raised her alone. Years later, to succeed, his father wanted to take advantage of selling stories about his childhood in magazines. This caused Adele’s complete rejection of him. The singer said, “I would spit my dad’s face now that I know what he did, I do not want to know more about him.”
He has a relationship with Simon Konecki and they have a son, born on October 19, 2012. When he questioned Adele about the baby’s name, he replied that “Peanut”. It is thought that the name is Angelo James, for a necklace she wore and which bore that engraved name.
He became interested in the world of music when he performed at a presentation of his school where he sang the song “Rise” by Gabrielle and gradually acquired the influences of artists like Ella Fitzgerald. When Adele was in the final year of her studies at Brit School, he had recorded demos for her class. One of his friends, Allan Rose, created a Myspace page and posted his videos playing some songs, including Chasing Pavements.
He has released 2 studio albums (“19” in 2008 and “21” in 2011). 2 EPs, 8 singles, 1 video album, 6 music video clips and 3 soundtracks (“Someone like you set the rain on fire” in 2011).
She was named a member of the Order of the British Empire in 2013, during the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday, for her service to music.
